1. Product Description
This factory-terminated fiber breakout cable converts a single high-density MTP®-12 APC interface into three separate MTP®-4 APC connections, enabling flexible multimode connectivity for parallel optics networks and structured cabling systems. Constructed with OM4 50/125 µm multimode fiber, each breakout is polished with angled APC endfaces to reduce back reflections and maintain link stability for short-reach data applications.
The cable arrives preassembled and performance-verified, eliminating field termination or polishing steps. With a plenum-rated OFNP jacket, it’s suitable for routing through air-handling and ceiling spaces where strict fire-safety standards are enforced. The breakout assembly uses Type B polarity to ensure predictable transmit and receive lane mapping in MPO/MTP based infrastructures.
