This pre-terminated fiber breakout assembly converts a single MTP®-12 APC connection into two MTP®-4 APC outlets, making it ideal for parallel multimode optics and structured cabling solutions. The cable is built with OM3 50/125 µm multimode fiber, delivering low insertion loss and reliable signal paths for high-speed links. Factory assembly and testing guarantee consistent performance, removing the need for onsite termination and manual polishing.
Its OFNP plenum jacket makes it suitable for installation in air-handling spaces that require strict fire and smoke safety compliance. The breakout uses Type B polarity, providing predictable transmit/receive mapping when integrated with MTP/MPO patch panels, cassettes or switch ports.
