While standard OS2 cables utilize traditional yellow PVC jackets, this specialized harness is fortified with a Heavy-Duty Black Jacket. This Base-8 harness utilizes advanced 9/125μm single-mode fiber to seamlessly split a 40G or 100G MTP/MPO port into four individual 10G or 25G LC duplex channels over long distances. To guarantee pristine signal integrity, the MTP end utilizes an APC (Angled Physical Contact) polish to drastically reduce return loss, while the LC ends utilize a UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) finish for universal transceiver compatibility.
